alone

He Sits alone, day after day
Not sure what to do, or how to quite say
That he's feelin'a little upset and a little betrayed
Where's God today, when there's so much disarray
And every single day he sits out there thinking
"What am I gonna do, I feel like I'm sinking"
And then a voice hits him hard causing him to jump
But then he smiles, because he begins to understand.
There's an angel who is watching him day after day
Writing down his good as he kneels down to pray
That Angel, God's messenger watches every night
And makes sure to help him through this long-winded fight
Cuz this world that he lives in is becoming difficult
He feels worried and doesn't know what to do
He says "everywhere you go theyre' pointin at you"
But with the help of the Angel he starts seeing the way
Slowly but surely it becomes clearer everyday
He is God's creation and will not be deserted
Gotta keep that head up, even when one's frustrated.
Cuz a time will come
Days after days
Where people will smile at him and believe what he says
He must keep fighting for what he believes is right
And God will lead his man, through this terrible plight.

fame

The game of fame will put your name to shame.
Taking that way will leave yourself to blame.
Running for fame will distort your belief,
No one else will want to share your grief.
With fame comes an arrogant and big head,
All the praises will become your daily bread.
But if you eat too much you will fall sick,
It’s the same with fame; but even more quick.
And when the disease spreads into your soul,
That’s when you know the devil has reached his goal.
You lose control and are then led by greed.
In front of your eyes, you’ll see your faith bleed.
The bleeding won’t stop and your faith will die.
It won’t come back, no matter how much you cry.
But you won’t care; it will be of your past,
Cuz now your famous and the game is fast.
And when the time comes for you to face death,
You’ll be breathing your own name till your last breath.
You’ll forget that you were also made from clay
And the horror will be yours on judgment day.
